8/8/2023 0 Comments Sim city optimal layout![]() Note: at lower level I modify the grid a bit to place some stores and blocking roads to do that, as I leveled up I modify those placements to fit my city needs. Here is an image of the grid at different stages. Move your decorations around as the houses upgrade, saves money. Place decorations by the road bordering the grid, this will turn the road into a fancier road thus allowing you to upgrade the buildings that require decorations or don't like pollution. Place High End Residences on the lower side of the 7 block grid, group them together so when you have to place the Mosque only the High End Residences are covered, failure to do that will require you to place 2 Mosques instead of just one.3 blocks in the direction of the 7 blocks grid. They will be located towards the middle of the grid. Place stores of same kind opposite each other in the grids that border the middle lane.Do this when most of your residences inside the grid are Ordinary Residences. Place temple inside the middle lane in center.Must place two stores of same kind opposite each other to cover whole area. Place 2 water wells in the center line, one 1 square away from road, the other on the opposite side 2 squares away from road. ![]() Clinic and General office requires 2 buildings opposite each other. Place clinic, General office in that grid. Place road around the outside of each side leaving 2 rows of 7 squares free inside that road.Place 2 roads inside this area bordering the middle row covering 9 squares along each, leaving one single free line of squares in the middle of grid.The layout I am suggesting here works perfect for Persian, however you can take an idea of what this layout accomplishes and modify it for your civilization. It maybe odd in the beginning, however you will be so grateful you planned ahead later on!Įach civilization has their own individual layout. There are different models of a city layout, however you want to plan a layout that will allow you to grow efficiently. Plan enough space to house future buildings that must be added inside your city areaĮverything is about planning, if you don't plan you will end up stuck without a way to move forward!.You need to plan where to place your houses.Sim Empire is a game that requires a lot of planning.
